Medicine Program at Caucasus International University
Caucasus International University · Tbilisi, Georgia
About this program
A six-year, English-taught one-cycle medical education program (360 credits) offered by CIU's Faculty of Medicine. It prepares students in medical sciences and clinical education; professional practice after graduation depends on the licensing and examination requirements of the country where the graduate intends to work.
Admission requirements
CIU's international admissions guidance lists a passport copy, high-school diploma or equivalent, recent photo, and English proficiency proof (such as IELTS/TOEFL) or a 2–3 minute self-introduction video in English. Applicants should confirm any interview, translation/notarisation and Ministry recognition steps with CIU.
Application deadline & intake
CIU states that international applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with no strict deadline; it recommends applying at least three months before the semester starts to allow time for recognition, visa and relocation.
Career opportunities
Potential paths include residency/specialist training, hospital or clinic work after meeting local licensing requirements, and further academic or medical research. The degree alone does not guarantee eligibility to practise in every country.
